"I guess my collages come about pretty much subconsciously. I tend to glorify the little things, make mountains out of mole hills. I find beauty in the simple and then it comes to represent something that is either going on in my life or has occurred past tense", said Miss Kimber. The collages take the viewer through a mystical journey into a world of dreams and fantasies. A trip to the land of time forgotten. It is also a look through the mind and spirit of a breathing and living artist. We as the viewer, can then relate for just a moment, the experience of living and feeling through the eyes of the artist. Many of the stories behind the images tend to be female oriented. "It's not a feminist thing, I just create things about what I know and what I've learned", concluded Megan. Her photo-illustrations are exquisite and powerful to say the least. The beauty exhibited in these three-dimentional sculptured images create a definite surreal feeling. Mystery and fantasy are combined to pick the viewer's brain.
