USA, USA...
Mr. Bush arrived in Manhattan just after 4pm. Within the hour, he was living in what newyorkers have been for the last few days, a living hell. He greeted everyone he could shake hands with and thanked all members of the now, recovery teams. Firemen, policemen, emergency personel and hundreds of volunteers that are working around the clock were very happy to see the president in person. It was perhaps, the shot of adrenaline the tired heroes needed. The president picked a bullhorn and began to speak. It was during this time when the crowd around Mr. Bush began chanting; "USA, USA, USA..." The leader of the free world then proceded to say; "I can hear you, and I can hear the rest of you". The chants got louder and louder and the president then said; "the People who knoked these buildings down will hear from us soon". This of course means that there will be some kind of retaliation soon. The president did not say anything specific about perhaps an American intervention. Mr. Bush finished by placing his arm around a fireman and told the rescuers; "thank you for your help -- thank you for making your nation proud". The president then proceded to greet and console victim's families at several posts within the city. He also joined hundreds in candle light vigils through the streets of Gotham. Bush then returned back to the nation's capital. He will be taken care of many matters of great importance for the next 48 to 72 hours. He will charge his batteries and pursue those who are responsible for these terrorist acts.
