War in Iraq?

War in Iraq?
Will it happen?, how will it happen? and what happened?

Lando ScarlataI guess you could call it in Iraq because it is not against Iraq. It is certainly not against the people of Iraq, unless you consider those in Iraq that are against the US and the Western World.

So why the hell are we fighting this war? Is it oil? Is it part of our plan of world domination? Is it because we don’t like the Iraqi people? Is it because of our sucky economy? Is it because of our allegiance to Israel? Or is it because we have too many weapons and we must liquidate them to make room for more?

You may be laughing (perhaps you should) but it is truly not something to laugh about. I believe that it is really all of the above. The only difference is that this time is personal. So, why is it personal?

I know what you are thinking (go with me here). This is a way for George W. Bush to avenge his father’s political death and personal threats with Saddam Hussein. It could very well be, but it really is not, or is it?

In the past, having these large and small scrimmages with far competitors that have provided us with great economic booms once the fighting has ended. The greatest example was WWII. America enjoyed the greatest over-all boom of all time. The economic growth was immense as well.

Lets go now to the War on the Gulf part 1 or Operation Desert Storm. This was a conflict sold to the American people as the liberation of a country that had invaded by another sovereign nation, in this case Iraq. Once again, we are faced with the same foe, or are we?

Wholly crap Batman!!! It’s Bush’s archenemy Saddam!!! Yes, indeed it is. This time he is more powerful than ever before. I think he is, if we fight him the same way we did before. It’s obvious that whatever we did back then and through out it did not work, but why?

Former president Clinton enjoyed 8 years of a prosperous economy, one that was propelled in part by the GWI. We simply thought, we cut Saddam’s balls off and now he is neutered like the dog.

Wrong!!! We stupidly followed like puppy-dogs the mandate of the United Nations and the International Court of Public Opinion. Bush 41 failed eliminating this tyrant because he did not follow through. In the 1940’s, did we let the Emperor of Japan stay in power once the war was over? Hell no!!! (actually we did let him in power, but he was a lion turned pussy cat if you know what I mean. Many of our younger Americans won't even know the difference since they don't teach history anymore) So, why did we let Hussein stay atop the Iraqi government eight years ago?

Now we have to deal with this clown once again. He now has an opportunistic sidekick in Osama “Yo’ Mamma” bin Laden on his side, making Hussein a more powerful competitor. A merciless butcher like Saddam and a religious cave dwelling leader making the US shake in their boots. What ever happen to the American Spirit?

I am not a war monger, and I don't want war, but this is personal and anyone who does not see it that way is high and should not be making any decisions whatsoever. During the days of WWII, Americans felt a great deal of patriotism whether you were in favor or against the war by supporting our troops. Let's not make the same mistake of Viet Nam!

My message is to repeat the history of another time. Drop the freaking bomb Mr. Bush. Drop the bomb! The tree hugging peace-loving, pot-smoking nimrods will hate you, but they never really voted for you and the majority of the country does not feel like them. The International Community will bitch and whine at first, but everybody likes a winner, and after all isn’t that what is all about, WINNING!!!

Send your comments to Lando!
