Interview by: silverio pantalla

Who is Cory Chase?
I would have to say I am me. I do not think I am like anyone else. I try to have my own thing and not copy someone's style. I want to be me.

The girl that grew up in a great home and was told she could be what ever she wanted. That is who I am.

Why modeling?
I was introduced to modeling when I was a young child. My father was a hobby photographer and I was his first child. He would capture every moment of my childhood on 35mm film.

My father would tell me that I would beg him to take my picture at times. I would go into their room and climb up on the dresser where my father kept his camera and bring it to him. I got away from it for awhile until I was a teenager and I did some modeling for the school yearbook. From then on that's all I wanted to do.

Is art important to you?
Yes, art can evoke feelings and emotions. I like the fact that I can be a part of a form of art. I think art allows people to think, maybe not like a scholar who looks at a piece of art, but a way that they can feel when they are in another place.
For me art is beautiful and lets my imagination go wild.

What is your most important goal in life?
My most important goal in life would have to be... It would be that I am known for something I have done. I do not want to go throughout life and not being noticed.

I like attention. I want to be known, not become women that works in an office all day and then goes home and only her friends and family know her. That is not me.

If you could have just one wish, what would it be?
My one wish in life would have to be that I would never have to work, never have to worry about money or paying the bills.

I want life to be like it was when i was a child. I want the feeling of never having to worry about getting things done on a schedule. On my schedule maybe it will be done or maybe not, it just doesn't matter.

If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet and why?
I do not want to sound religious but I would want to meet God, The Almighty himself. I would have so many questions to ask him. I would want to know what the Truth really is. I want to know what really happened and who he really is.

If you ask me God would have to be a women to handle all things at the same time.

What is the biggest misunderstanding about you?
I would have to say the biggest misunderstanding about me would have to be the first impression people have of me. People have a tendency to see me for my outward appearance and think that's all there is. I want people to know that there is a brain behind that skull of mine and not just air.

Who have been some of your main influences as a model and a person?
I do not want to sound corny but I would have to say my parents.

My Dad was the one that got me in front of the camera when I was very young. My Mom has supported on everything that I wanted to do.

Both of my parents were and are still very supportive of what I do. They steered me in the right direction when I was young and then let me make my own decisions.

Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
That is a really good question. I really have no idea. I like planning ahead but so much could happen for now till then.

I want to say that I will still be in the business but when you get older the harder it gets to stay in it. I want to have hit that big shot that ever model dreams of. The shot that would make you famous. I would really want that one wish of mine to come true before then but I do not know how realistic that is.

Most of all what I really want in ten years from now is to be happy with what I am doing and be happy with myself.

Cory would love to hear from you. Drop her a line here.
