by: Brooke Hunyady | Why
fringe girl? The definition suits me. Although I feel very attached,
it is to a separate band. If you look into the intricacies of fringe, there is
something delightful and pleasing about it. Whimsical yet logical. Whole yet with
holes. Delicate yet substantial. Which
do you think of yourself more; an artist or model? I have not modeled
commercially that much. On the "Many Faces" section of the website, the
images are more about the art of the photographer and I a subject. In that, perhaps
muse is the word. Many photographers, painters, writers, etc., have used me creatively.
The website as a whole was written, designed and programmed by me. You judge whether
it can be categorized as an artistic endeavor. It has been told that some of the
dishes served, some of the meals I prepared, are a work of art. In the emails
generated by my site are references to me as "arty", the writing style
as "conscious." ARTIST... it is a tricky word.

by: Brooke Hunyady | What
projects do you feel best describes you as a person? www.lisagaye.com-
no doubt, second to none. The site is autobiographical and covers the different
aspects of daily life. As it grows and develops, more of my spirit is exposed
in its informative nature. The philosophical core matures through the totality
of the site. What
do you want people to take from yourself, lisagaye.com? My
webstats provide me with some idea what people are taking away from the site.
Statistically speaking, a variety of sections are heavily visited. "Many Faces",
"Life in Tromaville" and the "Recipes" are the top three. I hope
the joy I have in building www.lisagaye.com shows. It is a huge learning
curve making a website! A journey that is difficult at times but never stops being
fun. It exercises my brain and massages my imagination. My goal is to entertain
& amuse. Esoterically, to share the wisdom behind happiness and the passion in
simplicity.

by: Mark Mauriello | | What
are the many of faces Lisa Gaye? That was probably the number
one question that drove the direction of the website. New York City in the 21st
century is a dynamic place for a woman to be. It affords and supports interesting
ideas. You can break away from social conditioning easier. I like being a Susie-Homemaker,
cooking, waiting on my family hand-and-foot, doting on my apartment. I like to
dress up and go out, be wined & dined, travel the world, and have adventures.
Being equally at peace doing either one. I like to be extroverted and introverted.
Conservative and liberal. On one hand, quite cool. On the other, a dork. Glamorous
and down-to-earth. Taking only the best parts of it all and discarding the rest,
of course. What
is the biggest misunderstanding about fringe girl? I don't feel
particularly misunderstood. That is if we are assuming that someone has genuinely
tried to understand me first without success. Who
have been some of your main influences? As a free thinker, only
bits and pieces of life's impressions add up to influential consequence. It is
hard to pin point any one thing being an overwhelming factor. People are so dynamic
that almost everyone whose path crossed mine has left a valuable mark. The mind
is so important, you must be careful what you let rest in there. Although, watching
Sonny & Cher certainly showed on the character of Miss Malfaire in Troma's
Toxic Avenger movies. Cher's theatrical fashion found its way into my psyche.
Not only in the films I've worked on but also in my personal wardrobe. That's
fluff-stuff though. My fans influence me to create my website.

me about your upcoming projects, activities and or events I'd
like to have a child - it is the best project, activity and event all rolled up
into one. To continue to earn my keep and prosper without joining the rat race
would be another blessing. All
