Who
is Lisa Verga?
Lisa is a resourceful girl with a strong personality, well determined
and resolute; loving of the fashion and show business so much that it
has become one of my first objectives in life.
I
have not neglected my law studies at the University of Catania. I believe
that I am living proof that you can do anything without any compromises
of any sort.
Why
modeling?
The idea came to me when I was 12 watching the Miss Italia pageant
on television. I really admired those girls! When I turned fifteen,
I realized then what I wanted to do.
I
started walking on stages in a series of shows and noticed that I felt
very comfortable. The excitement and satisfaction was more than I expected.
That is how I started and will plan to continue for as long as I can!
How
was it to grow up in a military base?
The experience was definitely a good one. I lived many beautiful
moments and learned the true values of life like friendship, faith and
unselfishness.
I met
new people and had the opportunity to socialize with young people from
other countries. I learned to respect them deeply regardless of their
color, religion, originss or traditions.
Life is
beautiful! Often we don't see it. Maybe it's because we choose to not
see people who are pain. Mankind is like that: You realize what you
are missing only when you don't have it anymore.
What
is your favorite sport? Do you play any?
All that has to do with competition
facsinates me. I have played several sports to shape-up my body. I
started with handball in the Acireale female team. I had to quit because
my body began to look a bit less feminine and attractive. I do excercise
regularly at a gym.
What
is the most important goal this year?
I really don't have a specific goal. I like to think that
every step I take in my professional life is a step towards my carrer.
As long as I improve, I am happy. I never had the impression that I
have made it. One should never think that there is no room for improvement,
right?!
What
is the biggest misuderstanding about you?
I am not perfect and I am well aware of that. The good thing
is that I don't hide my faults. I am like an open book.
Living
in harmony it is my winning technique. Sometimes I can get bossy due
to my strong personality. Hopefully this is something bound to disappear
with time.
Who
would you consider to be your greatest influence?
All of my friends in the fashion and show business are important
to me.
My
father supported me very much from the begining and I am very greatful
for that.
What
would be the perfect modeling assignment?
In a few words, to wear the cloths tailored by the best italian
and foreign stylists.
How
would you describe yourself to a blind person?
I think, I would describe myself as a sweet, easy going unselfish
person.
If
you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would it be?
I am always interested in meeting new people. It is very
exciting to me. If you live an interseting life, you are bound to found
interesting people.
Beer
or wine, and why?
It may sound strange but I am not crazy about either beer or wine. I
drink water. It's simple and pure. It's just good for you!
Where
do you see yourself 10 years from now?
In
ten years I hope to be at the top of my career and at the same time
to be a good wife and mother.
