long have you been a model and what made you decide to become one?
I've been modeling for about 3 years. Ever since I can remember. My mother
says that I was born to be a model or an actress because of how much I stayed
in front of the mirror. How
is it to be a model in Atlanta?
Atlanta is not one of
those major places like New York, Miami or California where
modeling (fashion) is key. It's a little difficult because I have to travel to
other cities to get assignment. What
is your favorite type of modeling?
I love Fashion and Swimwear
Where
has been your most exciting gig and why?
My most exciting and
most memorable modeling gig was when I was selected to appear on the Queen
Latifah Show. This
was my first REAL gig. A
free trip to New York to be on television show and to meet a celebrity
was the best perk of all. If
you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet and why?
Janet Jackson: She is by far the greatest female entertainer in the
industry. She can sing, dance and act as well. Janet is an excellent performer,
especially on stage. She's very versatile and most of all she's gorgeous. I have
the utmost respect for her. What
is the biggest misunderstanding about you?
I am about business
and being that I'm young, people instantly think is that I'm naïve and do not
know the business. I would like to let people know that I AM very serious
about my career and that I'm about business. Who
have been some of your main influences as a model and a person?
I don't have just one person that influences me: Tyra Banks, Halle Berry,
Naomi Campbell and Janet Jackson.They
each hold different characteristics which I admire in all: Stylish, poised,
gorgeous, petite, sexy, sophisticated, and educated, strong and down-to-earth,
beautiful women. Where
do you see yourself 10 years from now?
I see myself doing one
of two things or both: -
I have made it in Hollywood and have done several pictures.
- I
have established my own talent agency. And yes, it will be well known.
What
are your immediate plans for the future?
Currently, I am working
on a few projects this summer. I'm also doing a few calendar shoots as well in
Florida and in New York. It should be a fun summer! All
